Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello (born April 18 1967) is an American actress, producer, and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly ((2000), The Cooler (3), A History of Violence (2004), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2009), Grown Ups (2010) and Prisoners (2013) were just a few of her film roles. Bello appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998), along with other starring parts such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born April 18, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy who was a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello pursued a degree in the field of political science at Villanova University. Bello continued to train in acting by taking part in various New York theatre productions. Bello and Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. In November 2013, Bello wrote about her first partner Clare Munn's sexual relationship. The book she wrote was published.
